Carolina Consortium Cambridge University Press Journal Deal - Open Access Components

The world's oldest university press, Cambridge publishes nearly 400 academic journals. The Carolina Consortium was the first US state-wide consortium to sign an uncapped R&P deal with Cambridge. Fourteen consortium schools are participating in this deal for the 2022 subscription year.

For corresponding authors at participating institutions, all accepted articles are eligible for OA publication. Includes both pure OA and hybrid journals. There are no APCs and there is no per-article cost for either the author or the institution.

In order to receive this benefit, the article's corresponding author must use their official institutional email address when they submit the article. They will then be given the option to decline free OA publication of their work. See Cambridge's website for more information.
