A recent addition to the UNCG University Libraries collection of online resources, the Routledge Encyclopedia of Modernism is the largest and most comprehensive resource available for the study of modernism. With over 1,300 articles written by subject experts, the Routledge Encyclopedia of Modernism is fully cross-referenced, and covers eight interdisciplinary subject areas from architecture to visual arts. Browsing by subject, movement, or place enables researchers to discover connections between key topics. The encyclopedia is updated twice each year, and the latest update includes over 300 new articles.

Their catalogue gathers together the finest contemporary documentaries fresh off the international festival circuit -- films such as The Hunting Ground, Cartel Land, and Ukraine is Not a Brothel. Sage Research Methods now has video! These videos add to the already valuable content dedicated to helping researchers discover new or improve upon existing knowledge of research methodologies and approaches, such as the Little Blue and Green books. Videos touch on a wide range of topics, and include an entire 15-hour course on Introductory Statistics. All of these videos are fully integrated into the Sage Research Methods platform, so there is no need to learn a new interface.

Technologies offered, including laptops, iPads, camcorders, digital cameras & voice recorders, are loaned from the Check Out, Digital Media Commons and/or Harold Schiffman Music Library Desks.

The Libraries' have access to over 600,000 e-books searchable through the "Red Box" on the Libraries' home page. E-books may be used 24/7 from anywhere and are almost always available! Some provide downloading of sections or chapters and all allow printing. They don't require a reader but rather may be used via your laptop or desktop.
