Internships, Capstones, and Practicums
Do you have an interest in history, literature, or the arts? Do you have a desire to work with unique and historical papers, photographs, or artifacts? Do you have a special skill? Are you seeking opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment, taking a crucial role in the preservation of the University’s history and in its educational mission?
The Martha Blakeney Hodges Special Collections and University Archives at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro relies on the skills and energy student workers, volunteers, and interns to perform the necessary work in supporting research and learning. We will work one-on-one with anyone interested in a volunteer, internship, or practicum position. Our goal is to provide you with the training and ongoing support to maximize your experience here.
If you are interested in a practicum, capstone project, or internship in the Special Collections and University Archives department, call Kathelene Smith at 336-336-5648 or email her at KMSMI24@uncg.edu. Due to COVID-19, Special Collections and University Archives has suspended the volunteer program until further notice.
