Handbook of Parenting, 1st ed by Marc Bornstein
Parent-child relations fascinate me on multiple levels-as a daughter, mother, and researcher. Why do parents behave the way they do? Why does similar parenting affect different children in unique ways? Are we destined to parent our own children as our parents parented us? This handbook provides a detailed account of numerous aspects of parenting drawing from multiple perspectives. I find myself returning to it over and over again, and am inspired by its contents.
