I chose this book because it is an important source for my teaching and research in toxicology. This book serves as a highly useful introduction to toxicology fundamentals, and covers the molecular mechanisms involved in the toxicant-induced adverse health effects and discussion of molecular pathways altered in cells in response to environmental xenobiotic exposure. I am very excited this book is added to the library’s collection to honor my promotion and tenure at UNCG.
