I selected First Things First by Stephen R. Covey. As Covey explains, no matter how efficiently you do your work, if you’re doing the wrong thing, nothing will really improve. As I train individuals to become school leaders, it is important to help them understand how to prioritize their work. The job of a school administrator has many moving parts and the leader must be able to identify which rocks to turn over first. Start with the end in mind!
