Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALS Lead and Win

In preparation to become Department Head, I read a few books about leadership. Extreme Ownership was by far my favorite. I use leadership advice from this book in my roles as Department Head, Principal Investigator, and even as a softball coach. The offices of Academia are clearly safer than the streets of Ramadi during the war in Iraq, but there are more similarities than I had imagined.
